I have been following Beth Kempton's #tinyautumnpoem prompts for inspiration. It's a great exercise as the instructions are to write a poem in 10 minutes without editing. I found it challenging at first, however each day it becomes easier and more enjoyable to simply allow the words to flow. -

Colours hiding
a self afraid
child-like
masking

Snake skin
mottled
soul corrupted
by lying
